DESCRIPTION:The final talk for the 2022 will be delivered by Nina Terrey. T
 he talk title is The Paradoxes of Embedding Design in Organisations. It is
  based on Nina's PhD research which explored organisational practices arou
 nd adopting design as a management practice in the Australian Taxation Off
 ice (ATO). At the time of the research project the ATO employed over 22\,0
 00 employees and is responsible for the administration of taxation and sup
 erannuation legislation. Nina argues that practices of the public servants
  employed as managers by ATO resembled managing by design approaches.\nThe
  talk is part of the Engage with Ideas monthly series\, which explore the 
 relationship between design\, education\, and society.
